Affirmations work if they’re believable. When we’re trying to replace our negative thoughts with positive thoughts, it takes time, repetition, but most of all it takes accuracy! In other words, if we don’t believe our positive affirmations we’re repeating over and over to ourselves the idea “I’m a liar!”
I suggest baby steps. Until we can believe the kind, positive, affirming, robust new ideas about ourselves, we can believe that we’re working toward believing them. In this video I give you kind, positive affirming, robust affirmations followed by the baby step affirmations that we can believe in the meantime.
